Life across planets. Intelligence across stars.

Our selected ambition is to overcome the Great Filter, spread the biosphere across planets and the Marketsphere across stars, developing Kardashev-scale entities. Ecology sustains living conditions within this larger undertaking.

Biosphere : ecology :: Marketsphere : economy is the central teleological correspondence. The chosen aim is conscious cultivation of life's continuation, differentiation and expansion. Economic cooperation must renew the conditions that support its participants, with affected bearers and physical costs visible.

The Great Filter is a hypothesis about barriers to lasting expanding life. Which barriers remain ahead, and how to overcome them, are open questions. Energy scale, useful capability, Justice and divinity need different evidence.

The Garden Ahead names a theological image within this cosmic horizon. Literal future divine emergence remains an aim; its realization is conjectural.

The working grammar

Seven contributions to one undertaking.

L1 sets the boundary: name the question, scope and affected bearers. L2 explores alternatives and rivals. L3 checks evidence, assumptions, costs and contributions.

L4 forms a bounded proposal and coordinates an authorized act. L5 connects capabilities, dependencies and failure modes. L6 repairs, relinquishes or retires retained forms while preserving history. L7 returns to purpose and makes the whole account intelligible.

These work questions are an applied crosswalk. They preserve the philosophical rows—Teleology, Epistemology, Methodology, Axiology, Cosmology, Ontology and Theology—rather than replacing them.

The golden-age ideal

Develop broadly. Contribute particular strengths.

All seven functions fully emerged, specialized and exchanging with one another: this is the selected golden-age ideal. Personal breadth and cooperative specialization belong together.

People can learn, combine, rotate and contest roles. Seven roles named in an organization do not establish seven capacities developed in its people. Whole-pattern work is a contribution within the whole.

Three questions across every function

Provide. Protect. Orient.

Provision asks what useful contribution a function makes. Protection asks which people, conditions and work need continuity or remedy. Orientation asks how purpose is understood and made intelligible.

The proposed 7 × 3 matrix becomes useful through named tasks, participants, costs and review points. Twenty-one labels alone cannot establish completeness.

Power-Max in practice

Make others more capable.

The selected strategy is specialization and cooperation that grow durable capability. The formal Power-Max lemma is conditional on its Justice-admissible set: complete affected bearers, responsible horizons and disclosed costs.

Industrial dependence, positive coupling or a favourable VMO × SKA profile does not prove non-extraction. A machine might replace a human contribution. Protection of affected people must survive changes in economic usefulness.

VMO × SKA = Emergentist Exergy joins possible direction to demonstrated means. The selected sphere profile has maximum 1 at the equator. That chart result does not score the success or moral worth of a civilization.

The selected Marketsphere model

Needs meet capabilities.

Makers and takers cooperate through demand and supply to fulfil one another’s needs. Credit records a claim on another contribution; debt records an obligation.

Ledger balance, actual fulfilment and durable renewal are different observations. Inspect performance, failure, costs and remedies. Commons, unpaid cooperation and gifts can contribute when their provision and burdens are visible.

Biology and machine intelligence

Living reproduction. Industrial renewal.

Biological organisms reproduce within ecological systems. Intelligent capacities develop through inherited structure, development and learning; acquired knowledge is not automatically reproduced. Contemporary advanced machine intelligence depends on equipment, energy, maintenance and specialized industrial supply networks. Copying a model does not reproduce its working substrate.

Compare efficiency and effectiveness for particular tasks and full lifecycles. Ecological and economic niche partition and convergent specialization remain research questions. Distinguish independent convergence from inheritance, copying and imposed standards.

Across planets and stars, viable reproduction, local industrial capability and coordination under light-travel delay become practical questions. Durable, repairable and interoperable tools support that capability.

From a lived question to action

Listen. Compare. Undertake one bounded project.

Begin with an optional conversation about what is needed, what works and which attempts failed. Roundtables can compare accounts; public discussion can expose sources and disagreements. A shared project requires willing contributors.

Record purpose, capabilities, resources, affected bearers, reciprocal contributions, costs and alternatives. Include repair, borrowing, replacement and stopping. Define consent, applicable authority, custody, observable outcomes, review, handover and Exit.

Keep proposed, authorized or refused, executed and independently observed states separate. A filled template is preparation. Its benefits and adverse effects need actual observation.

Realpolitik and institutional design

Coordinate a civilization through workable means.

Account for actual resources, incentives, institutions, dependencies and concentrations of power. A holobiont is an analogy for civilization; it needs mechanisms such as resource flows, feedback, conflict, renewal and repair.

Compare a voluntary federation of autonomous contributors with a mission foundry assembled for bounded work. Mutual aid, modular capability and traceable responsibility are proposals to investigate. A coherent diagram does not establish a functioning movement.

The full life of a contribution

Create. Guard. Repair. Retire. Archive.

Create where a better alternative is evidenced. Guard through bounded checks. Repair where it serves. Retire with responsibility for consequences. Archive rationale, predecessors, failures and unfinished obligations.

Durable tools, upgrade paths, interoperability, resale and user-controlled data can preserve capability. Traceable origin establishes provenance; efficacy and value require further evidence.

Meaning in finite life

Attend. Choose. Act. Examine. Release.

Notice the situation. Select one responsible contribution. Act within your means. Examine its effects. Relinquish a failed account or a completed obligation.

Remembrance can preserve finite contributions and the conditions received from others. Mortality gives decisions consequence without a promised afterlife. The distant horizon gives orientation while nearer commitments remain open to review.

Rivals, evidence and correction

Let the method earn its place.

Compare seven-function practice with ordinary project management, broad education, voluntary associations and cooperation without this lens. Predeclare useful outcomes, total coordination cost, error correction, dissent, repair and Exit.

A simpler method may perform better. Narrow or retire the account if roles become fixed status, rivals are suppressed, costs exceed useful contribution or people cannot leave safely. A useful survivor may be a modest checklist.

Useful cooperation, an expanding Marketsphere and a divine subject require different arguments. The preparation documents establish no participant body, interviews, completed pilot, planetary seed or stellar network.
