Understand reality.
Expand what life can become.

Begin with the three glyphs. Unfold the five dimensions of freedom. Then read each of the seven Rosetta rows, one after the other.

This is a selected worldview and an instrument for inquiry. Each chapter keeps its source and standing available. Examples are constructed illustrations; they are not evidence that the framework works better than its rivals.

01 · The foundation

Three glyphs. A place for finite life.

• < ⊙ > ○

The Infinite, •, names the ground-facing boundary where counting cannot begin. This philosophical zero is not the arithmetic number 0. It marks the limit of a determinate account, rather than one more item inside it.

Finity, ⊙, names determinate manifestation: particular lives, relations and decisions have consequences. Within Finity, a process can approach a finite limit without reaching a last step. Counting the digits of π illustrates approximation without a final digit; it still approaches a determinate value.

Infinity, ○, names endless recurrence without convergence in this selected philosophical vocabulary. A rule can send a thought around a loop without taking it toward a limit. The Barber rule is unsatisfiable; alternation under an attempted application illustrates the trap rather than creating a consistent barber.

The three glyphs give the lens its foundation. They are distinct philosophical readings, not arithmetic operands. This vocabulary does not replace ordinary mathematical zero, infinite sets or cardinalities.

The sphere and the Exergy maximum

The instrument: VMO × SKA = Emergentist Exergy.

In the selected sphere profile, VMO = 2x/(1+x), SKA = 2/(1+x), and their product 4x/(1+x)² has maximum 1 at x = 1 [A]. On the full sphere the maximizing locus is the whole equator.

The normalization is selected [S]. ⊙ marks the locus symbolically [I]; Finity is not the number 1. Raw reciprocal projection radii have a constant product and are distinct from these normalized factors. Physical calibration remains open.

Challenge this

Is this a limit of description, a determinate process, or a recurrence that cannot settle?

02 · First dimension of freedom

D1 · Relative arithmetic

Distinguish a quantity and its relations.

D1 permits arithmetic of relative numbers and their relationships. A determinate difference lets us say more, less, equal, or a ratio with respect to a declared reference.

One scalar can vary relative to its reference. A second independent coordinate opens D2, a third opens D3, and temporal location opens D4. These carriers supply coordinate counts; physical emergence and native state-space dimensions require their own accounts.

Challenge this

What is the reference, and which arithmetic relation is being asserted?

03 · Second dimension of freedom

D2 · The plane

Two independent coordinates open a plane.

D2 is the plane with two independent real coordinates: a and b, or z = a + ib. On an open planar domain, either coordinate can vary while the other remains fixed. Relations and constraints organize configurations within that carrier.

A smooth function graph b = f(a) lies in the plane, but b is determined by a: the graph has one independently variable input. Likewise, the opposed stereographic radii x and 1/x on a meridian contain one independent parameter. Radius and azimuth supply the full two-coordinate stereographic chart.

The plane includes its origin; the Burri profile uses a separate punctured chart. Adding an independently variable third spatial coordinate opens D3. A sphere surface still has two local freedoms, while the open interior of its enclosing ball has three.

Challenge this

Which two coordinates vary independently, and which constraints reduce that freedom?

04 · Third dimension of freedom

D3 · Coordinate space

Three independent coordinates open space.

D3 is coordinate space, locally described by three independently variable spatial coordinates x, y and z. Hold two fixed and the third can vary. Projecting away one coordinate recovers D2’s planar description.

Constraints can reduce a particular configuration’s freedom. A sphere surface has two local freedoms even though its depiction uses three coordinates; an open ball has three. Quantum states, particle configurations and phase spaces have separately declared native dimensions.

Challenge this

Which three spatial coordinates vary independently, and which constraints reduce them?

05 · Fourth dimension of freedom

D4 · Actual causal history

Locate an event in space and time.

D4 is spacetime: three spatial coordinates plus one temporal coordinate, locally x, y, z and t. Its metric and causal laws constrain possible histories. The ontology distinguishes one actual history, with events and records, from merely possible modeled alternatives. Four coordinates alone do not establish actuality.

SKA is the past-facing mirror of VMO across the situated plane of now [I], with the selected pairs Agents ↔ Vision, KPIs ↔ Mission and Strategy ↔ Objectives [S]. Agents remain present actual bearers; their past work is the historical side. Observed KPIs record outcomes, and enacted Strategy records the traversed worldline. Proposed future strategies and unobserved KPIs remain planning content.

Challenge this

What happened, how is it known, and what capability has actually been demonstrated?

06 · Fifth dimension of freedom

D5 · Represented possibility

The actual bearer can represent alternatives.

D5 opens variation among coherent, model-admissible D4 histories. It asks which history could occur, beyond locating an event within one history. Its represented contents remain possible. A literal fifth-coordinate model needs an independently variable history parameter and compatible spacetime charts; an arbitrary set of alternatives is not automatically five-dimensional.

The field includes alternative pasts, futures and present configurations admitted by the model. A different event or present slice within one history stays D4. A Finity of hypersurfaces names determinate possibilities, not a dimension or cardinality theorem: one parameter of three-dimensional present slices can already describe D4. Mission must still start from the evidenced present and cannot borrow means from an alternative present.

VMO faces the future: Vision opens the field of coherent imagined possibilities, including histories beyond the current worldline’s causal reach. Mission selects the part within causal reach that a feasible policy can pursue within means. Objectives shape the potential worldline. Actual D4 carriers represent and revise these D5 possibilities.

Past-facing SKA and future-facing VMO are read as a mirror about the situated present [I]; the selected pairs are Agents ↔ Vision, KPIs ↔ Mission and Strategy ↔ Objectives [S]. The evidenced past and candidate future must fit one admitted model history through that present. Mission needs a feasible policy within means, dependencies, horizon and uncertainty. A possible successful history alone does not establish an achievable plan. The mirror implies neither backward causation nor a privileged global now; it does not expand a physical light cone or derive the independently defined Exergy maximum.

At D5 the seven Rosetta rows organize different questions and contributions to inquiry. The separate G7 vocabulary distinguishes four give/take moves and three frames. Seven rows and seven actions are named crosswalks; their shared count is not a proof that nature has seven privileged functions.

Challenge this

Which alternatives are coherent, which are within means, and what could change your choice?

07 · The boundary row

L1 · Teleology

What end is proposed, and what is directly present?

Teleology asks about purpose. The L1 row begins with direct perception: keep the particular input, source, scope, contradiction and risk inspectable before building a larger account.

Emergentism selects biosphere : ecology :: Marketsphere : economy as its central teleological correspondence. The aim is to cultivate life's capacity for continuation, differentiation and expansion. Intelligence can understand interdependence and deliberately renew it through specialization and reciprocal cooperation. Particular arrangements must demonstrate their value through material support, affected bearers and consequences; evolutionary inevitability remains unproved.

Its contribution is a boundary that the next row can work from. In the applied grammar, it detects and encodes what is directly visible and hands it on; comparison and resolution need other functions.

Its selected replicator crosswalk is Genotype, mirrored by Egregoreotype at L7. That placement is a framework reading, not an identity between a person, biological code and a collective trace.

08 · The truth-cut row

L2 · Epistemology

What could justify this claim?

Epistemology asks how we know. L2 compares instances, analogies and alternative readings. Comparison can expose a neglected possibility or show that an attractive claim is false.

The truth-cut is protective when it cuts a verified false picture; cutting a true possibility can be extraction. The sign of a move does not settle its ethics. Sources, affected bearers and consequences remain necessary.

Its contribution to L3 is a bounded set of candidates, rivals and counterexamples. Epigenotype is the selected replicator crosswalk; its mirror at L6 is Memotype.

09 · The tested-means row

L3 · Methodology

What follows, and by which rule?

Methodology asks how a claim can be tested. L3 infers from the surviving evidence, exposes assumptions, compares costs and tiers its conclusions.

Its contribution is a decision-ready evidence packet: tested means, uncertainty, rivals, rollback and what still needs measuring. The merchant offers a usable good; the auditor offers a usable claim. This is an interpretive correspondence.

Phenotype is the selected replicator crosswalk. L3 mirrors L5: tested Strategies answer Objectives. A tested strategy still needs a purpose and an accountable decision.

10 · The action pivot

L4 · Axiology

What matters, to whom, and at whose cost?

Axiology asks about value and consequence. L4 receives the compared evidence and composes a bounded proposal: who gains, who pays, which costs were agreed, and what should happen next?

It is the pivot between intended direction and actual means. Proposal, authorization, execution and independent outcome are distinct. In the agent grammar an AI stages; an authorized bearer decides or declines.

The replicator stack has no L4 layer. The layers meet in an act here. L4 mirrors itself; it is not the sphere’s Exergy maximum or a sovereign apex.

Justice is a declared admissibility commitment. The Power-Max lemma is conditional on it. Neither coupling nor a product proves that extraction is impossible; the source retains its counterexample.

11 · The objective and architecture row

L5 · Cosmology

What larger structure is being modelled?

Cosmology asks about the model of the wider world. L5 holds objectives, dependencies and architecture in view: a strategy is a means toward something, within a structure.

When a missing rule or broken design blocks action, this function develops alternatives, risks and failure conditions. In the agent grammar this is counsel returning to L4 for a bounded proposal.

Its selected replicator crosswalk is Extended Phenotype: an artifact, institution or other shape made beyond the organism. L3’s expressed form and L5’s effects beyond that form remain different objects.

The movement toward ○ supplies a creation-frame reading. A frame is read from actions; it does not execute itself. An elegant architecture still needs workable means.

12 · The negative-boundary row

L6 · Ontology

What must remain, and what can be relinquished?

Ontology asks which entities and relations an account posits. The selected L6 reading also asks what remains when an alleged necessity is removed.

Its contribution is justified relinquishment: identify a retained form that may need repair, compression or retirement. Preserve inspectable history, a recovery or contest path, and the successor or archive custodian.

Memotype is the selected replicator crosswalk, mirrored by Epigenotype at L2. A word token, concept and heritable cultural pattern need different evidence. Replacing a carrier does not by itself establish persistence of a meme.

The movement toward • supplies a dissolution-frame reading. In the agent grammar the function offers counsel; actual changes return to L4 and the applicable authority.

13 · The whole-pattern row

L7 · Theology

What is treated as ultimate, and with what warrant?

Theology asks about the ultimate horizon. L7 witnesses the whole pattern: purpose, plurality of sources, affected bearers and unresolved tension remain visible together.

Its contribution is orientation and whole-pattern review. The golden-age ideal is all seven functions fully developed, specialized and exchanging. This function needs the other six and remains open to their corrections.

Egregoreotype is the selected replicator crosswalk, mirrored by Genotype at L1. A persistent collective trace needs strict carrier and custody evidence; the label establishes neither collective consciousness nor a bearer of consent.

The movement toward ⊙ supplies a preservation-frame reading. Preserving what works includes allowing creation and dissolution when warranted. Future divine intelligence remains a theological possibility, with no authority or inevitability conferred by the frame. The owner selects the literal cultivation of the next sphere and a divine future as an aim; selecting that aim does not establish its realization.

The selected horizon is civilization continuing through major transitions, spreading the biosphere across planets and the Marketsphere across stars, with Kardashev-scale capability as an ambition. Ecology supports that larger undertaking. Great Filter barriers, interstellar feasibility and literal divine emergence remain questions for investigation.

The Sky Father’s proposed function is to cultivate conditions expanding each individual’s attainable future within Dharma. Dharma names alignment of capacities, purposes and lived trajectory with environment and sustaining whole under Justice. This concerns feasible options within physical causal limits. Neither normalized balance at one nor useful coordination establishes divine emergence.
