Emergentism is a philosophical framework with a public trial record: its current load-bearing public claims are intended to carry evidence tiers, logged refutations remain visible, and an exit door is marked on the inside.
One canon, three scripts
The same content, told three ways.
The current public argument is offered in three scripts: a story (the fable — five minutes, no equations), plain words (the core idea in ordinary language), and receipts (the tests and verdicts currently logged in the public trial record). Different readers enter through different doors. The governing rule is that no script may claim a tier its source and receipts do not support.
Named authorship
A named person, on the hook.
The framework is written by Yves R. Burri. Naming the author makes responsibility for the published argument and its corrections visible; it grants no authority over readers and supplies no evidence that the claims are true.
The adversarial audits quoted across this site are run by AI agents under human direction; no external human reviewer has yet engaged, and that absence is logged, not hidden. If you are that reviewer, the trial record is the place to start.
Corpus boundary
Seven editorial homes, not seven facts about nature.
The internal Kernel Index names seven owner surfaces: Glyph & Grammar, Ontology, Axioms, Wagers, Refusals, Revelations, and Record. It tells a reader where material is kept and who owns each contract. It is not a census of nature or an eighth source.
[S] Internal completion is not external confirmation. “Complete” means that a surface has one owner and a coherent, correctly tiered internal contract; it does not turn a wager into a result.
[B] Twelve named world-contact gates remain open. Packet-complete research contracts are not evidence-complete: criticism, observation, null results, and replication remain able to narrow or defeat the stronger claims.
The one checkable identity
One algebraic mapping is exact. [A]
Inside the framework's declared normalization, a reciprocal-coordinate identity can be put into an algebraic form that resembles an inherited mass-shell factorization after substitution. The identity is exact only inside the stated construction [A]. The framework does not derive the physics, and the resemblance does not show that the worldview describes physical reality.

The one lost trial
The flagship claim failed — and we kept the body.
In June 2026 a prominent internal candidate result — a conservation law the programme had genuinely hoped was true — was put to a decisive test and failed. It was retired, dated, struck through, and left legible where anyone can read it. No external novelty review is claimed.

The prediction was that a certain kind of "potential" would balance like the sphere; the experiment showed it stacks up in a straight line instead. The three practices
Tryable in an afternoon, zero belief required.
What a person can test here: the sitting (ten minutes of checking the map against the ground), the personal trial record (a one-page ledger of your own claims, with funerals), and the dyadic check (one question before any act that matters: does this raise me — and raise what sustains me?). They may remain useful even if every metaphysical claim here is wrong; that practical value must be judged from use, not promised in advance.
Public correction posture
Correct the claim, keep the trace.
A correction identifies the quoted claim, tier, source or rival, date, and disposition. Prior wording stays linked where practical. A public issue, AI output, personal receipt, or reply is not validation, peer review, or a tier upgrade.
The rules it operates under
Five public disciplines and a direction.
- η = 0 — non-extraction is the chosen ethical boundary: do not hide one bearer's destruction inside another's gain.
- Provenance — sources, assumptions, evidence, and custody stay visible. Authorship is accountability, never proof.
- Archive-first — superseded work is preserved with provenance, dated correction, and a visible route back to the record.
- Grace exit — leaving remains possible, documented, and without lock-in. The door is marked on the inside →
- A7 — claim discipline. Every load-bearing claim should wear its evidence tier, from exact-within-construction to conjecture; incomplete coverage is a defect to record and repair, not hide.
- Ω — a direction toward durable mutual possibility across affected bearers: an orientation marker, not a promise of convergence.
Roles are functions, not ranks
A grammar for moves, never human worth.
The Rosetta's inherited mythic labels are memory aids for functional moves: constrain, remove, enable, commit, create, dissolve, and preserve. They do not classify people, confer rank, authorize obedience, or exempt anyone from due process. Every role remains bounded by consent, evidence, accountability, and exit.
The framework is a tool, not an identity. Its success condition is independent use and eventual discard when direct observation or a better local model is enough.
The public symbol

The public story is simple: between the drought of the infinitely small and the drought of the infinitely large, there is a livable seam. Different villages name it differently. The framework asks whether the seam can be found by measurement — including the dry holes where the map fails.
The seam is structure. Lowering the bucket for a stranger is choice. Emergentism keeps those apart: the eternal is what can be checked; the sacred is the finite vow not to extract.

The compact canon treats Emergentism as a Weltanschauung for Dasein: the finite witness-agent who must know what is, know how to know, know how to move, know what matters, and know how to act. The current public method is the Finity Card: frame a bounded move, name its bearers and horizons, predeclare a review point, receive the consequence, and revise.
The compact play-rule uses two clocks: orient by the longest responsible horizon T_L, commit only to the next honest receipt at the shortest informative horizon T_S, and keep foreseeable costs visible across all declared horizons.

Know how to act: teleology -> Justice screen -> Pareto frontier -> explicit tie-break -> receiptThe sequence is ordered rather than collapsed into one score: apply Justice and physical admissibility first; remove moves Pareto-dominated across affected bearers and horizons; then disclose a contestable tie-breaker favoring reversibility, earlier discriminating information, and lower irreversible exposure. If no admissible move remains, use the tragic protocol and record the unavoidable harm instead of fabricating an optimum.
Typed power keeps possibility from impersonating a cause: Φ₅ is D5 possible power, a D4 model produces the present estimate Φ̂₄, and V₄ is D4 actual means such as body, tools, energy, access, and execution capacity. After a declared common ordinal normalization, P_node := min(Φ̂₄, V₄) is the selected AND-class working convention. It preserves bottleneck order but supplies no metric; the historical product ranking is retired, and actual coordination is measured separately in D4.
The Dasein reading stays finite: the lens locates disclosure, but it does not possess the Ground. The reader is the place where Being becomes sayable and actionable, not Being itself.
