A model can be coherent and still fail to be instantiated. Mathematical necessity never silently becomes empirical evidence.

A compass, not a cathedral.
Emergentism is a typed way to ask what exists, what is merely possible, what was actually done, who bears the consequence, and what would make the map lose. It does not require belief and does not claim to be a theory of everything.
The lens
Three distinctions prevent most category errors.
Possible ≠ actual
D5 contains modeled alternatives. D4 contains performed interactions, outcomes, and records. An actual model token may represent possible content without making it actual.
Commitment ≠ consequence
An agent can authorize and attempt an action. The world separately returns an outcome. The selector does not manufacture its own receipt.
Physical cone ≠ option cone
The physical light cone stays bounded by spacetime and c. An option cone is the subset of admissible histories an agent can model, rank, coordinate, and reach.
The compressed mathematics
Three formulas, three types.
φ · ν = 1[A] Reciprocal-chart identity on its declared domain. It proves no ontology, ethic, conservation law, or world fit.
P_node := min(Φ̂₄,V₄)[S/C] Selected ordinal AND-class convention: Φ₅ is D5 possible power, Φ̂₄ is its present D4 evaluation, and V₄ is D4 actual power. The minimum records joint necessity on a common ordinal scale. The former product is retired as a ranking unless separately defended cardinal measures exist.
F = M × A[I] Public compression for model-mediated future influence. Formally, typed coupling M⋆A changes present selection; the future does not physically reach backward.

Models act through bodies and return as receipts.

This separates the cognitive gap (territory versus model), execution gap (intention versus performed action), and outcome gap (expected versus receipted consequence). Anticipated futures matter causally because actual agents represent them now.
The practical needle
Ask before acting.
- What is actual, what is possible, and what am I merely assuming?
- What future am I representing, and what evidence could change that representation?
- What means are truly available, and what constraint or other agent can veto the action?
- Who authorized it, who acts, who pays, who benefits, and who bears irreversible consequence?
- Can the affected person contest, repair, revoke, or exit?
The Good · chosen orientation [I]
True, beautiful, and just—held together.
Truth is tier discipline and willingness to lose. Beauty is coherent form that aids understanding without laundering proof. Justice keeps every impact-bearer visible and forbids aggregate gains from hiding the destruction of one side. The Good is the chosen AND-class conjunction: if one factor is zero, the claim to goodness fails.
